The sudden shift to a virtual working environment has stressed the limitations of paper-based processes, particularly in file-heavy areas, such as legal departments. Legal departments were forced to rapidly modernize their document management processes by adopting cloud-based technologies, including digital document processes and e-signatures, and have since then observed improved governance, compliance, and data security. Today, legal departments must leverage these solutions to keep up — and potentially lead — digital transformation efforts taking place in the wider organization.
In this study, Adobe commissioned Forrester to conduct an online survey in May 2021 with 600 APAC business decision-makers in human resources, sales and legal departments with responsibility for digital document processing at their organization.
