With dozens of pioneering research projects at the University of Delhi’s Department of Genetics every year, its demand for high-performance computing (HPC) resources is high. It operated an HPC cluster that faculty members could use, but there was often a long wait for essential compute resources.
To speed up essential research, the department’s Centre for Genetic Manipulation of Crop Plants (CGMPC) engaged Lenovo to deploy its Genomics Optimization and Scalability Tool (GOAST) Plus, an HPC system specifically designed for large-scale plant genomics analytics.
Read this case study to learn more about the work that goes on in CGMPC, its unique challenges, and how GOAST Plus enabled the department to achieve its research goals.
